What are the guidelines for making an application for BrandOutLoud Fund?

Only applications for grant appeals for branding, marketing and communication projects will be considered. For example, your local aid organisation is looking into improving its own marketing and communication. BrandOutLoud would be happy to support. However applicants should note that grants are limited to 70% of the total project costs directly relating to BrandOutLoud's areas of interest.

We do NOT consider grant applications for:

  • any organisations which do not have charitable status or are not registered as an NGO in its local country
  • general appeals from large, well-established and international charities
  • appeals for large building or research projects
  • arts, school or education projects
  • core funding

Is there a deadline for applications and when will I get a decision?

There is no deadline, as applications are considered throughout the year. How long you need to wait for a decision can depend on the number of other applications being processed at any one time, and on the date of our next Trustees' meeting, when it will be discussed. But all applications are acknowledged.

What does BrandOutLoud make grants for?

We will consider any request as long as it is made by a registered charity or aid organisation, and fits inside our guidelines and is for work in our areas of interest (branding, design and communication). Furthermore, as part of its policy BrandOutLoud will provide financial and practical assistance during the project.

Does BrandOutLoud consider applications from outside its areas of interest?

No. All applications for support, for non-profit, non-governmental aid organisations and/or charity projects, MUST directly relate to branding, marketing and communication.

For how much can my organisation apply?

This can depend on the type of application you are hoping to make. As a guide, you should be aware that grants are limited to 70% of the total project costs, up to a maximum of 17,000 euros per project.

Why do you not provide grants for all aid organisations, big or small?

Unfortunately, whilst we would like to help everyone in need, our resources are not limitless.
