BrandOutLoud is a Dutch creative agency with a big heart for social causes. We provide tailor-made branding and communications to local and international non-profit organisations worldwide through the power of storytelling.
Established in 2007 by Judith Madigan and Mark van Luyk, the concept arose after a volunteering year in South-East Asia. While working with various development organisations, the founders discovered just how much non-profits could gain from professional communication.
There are many good causes in the world. Unfortunately, not nearly enough get their message across successfully. BrandOutLoud works on-site with non-profit organisations that want to improve their corporate promotion and communication, become more independent and increase their impact and appeal.

TELLING THE STORY
Driven by the desire to innovate and push the boundaries of visual storytelling, BrandOutLoud has produced several award winning videos, in which delicately shot visuals are combined with personal stories told by the people themselves.
BrandOutLoud believes it is fundamental for people to tell their story in their own words. It is a matter of respect. For various reasons, agencies opt for voiceovers to connect the dots in a story. However, if people can share their own story, it is infinitely more authentic, credible and engaging.

In its approach to branding and communication, BrandOutLoud emphasises the strength, resilience, beauty and dignity of the people organisations work with. This is in contrast to “shockvertising”, the use of pitiful and shocking imagery commonly found in global development communication.
