BrandOutLoud is driven by the desire to innovate and push the boundaries of visual, multimedia storytelling in which aesthetic and powerful imagery is the key for successful communication: Visualise to persuade.
CONCEPT: ABILITY, INCLUSION, COMMUNITY
Strong imagery was the essence of this project. CDMD’s corporate imagery shows people with disabilities in tangible community situations and displays a range of ability, activity, location, age and gender. The connecting threads in all the images are ability, inclusion and community.
The new CDMD logo reflects the organisation’s ability to instigate change within communities, from the inside. Together with the tagline “inclusive communities - everyone matters”, the logo and imagery represent CDMD’s identity as a professional and caring organisation, committed to making a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities.
EMPOWERING PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
Although CDMD are well known in Cambodia and in the wider region, they are still a relatively young local organisation and are looking to promote themselves more among the international community.
BrandOutLoud worked onsite with CDMD over three months to create a range of different communication tools including business cards, letterheads, a website, leaflets, posters, e-newsletters, postcards, signboards and more. BrandOutLoud also taught CDMD how to use these new tools through tutorials and instruction manuals.
Following this branding excercise, further promotional videos were developed for CDMD.
Since the project, CDMD has used all the newly developed communication tools: business cards, leaflets and the new website. CDMD has showcased their new brand identity locally, through presentations, as well as branded T-Shirts, signs and vehicles. To ensure the sustainability and impact of the new brand, they have also assigned a Communications Officer.
